Mauro Ranallo has signed a new contract with WWE to remain the lead announcer for NXT, according to PWInsider. The length is not known.
Like his previous contract, the new deal will still allow him to do commentary outside of WWE. Mauro also does play by play for Showtime boxing and Bellator MMA.
Mauro previously signed a contract with WWE to become the NXT play by play man in June 2017 after playing that role on SmackDown from January 2016 until he briefly left WWE in March 2017.
