WWE made a few changes to the look of Raw during the third hour of last night’s show, essentially making things more dark.
The “Titantron” and ring aprons displayed a red Raw logo on a black background (instead of a white background), the LED ring posts were turned off, and the house lights were dimmed.
You can see the changes happen at about the 1:30 mark in the video below. Mick Foley says, “Starting tonight, the third hour of Raw each and every week is about to get downright mean and nasty. A little bit dirty.” The lights then start to dim and the graphics change, giving the show a more “intimate” look.
When Foley mentioned the “third hour of Raw,” it seemed like he was saying that that’s when the 24/7 Championship would be defended, which doesn’t make any sense, but the “third hour” comment was apparently just talking about changes to the third hour of Raw generally, according to Fightful.
