AEW applied to trademark “Wednesday Night Dynamite” with the US Patent and Trademark Office on June 18, possibly shedding some light on the day of the week that their weekly TV show will air this fall.
AEW previously applied to trademark “Tuesday Night Dynamite” on November 5, 2018.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW’s weekly show will “100%” air either on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, with Wednesday currently seeming more likely.
TNT is reportedly still weighing the options, but a decision is expected soon. International TV deals reportedly haven’t been finalized yet partly because the day of the week is still not officially decided.
