As noted before, EVOLVE recently announced that Kyle O’Reilly was pulled from the cards of their EVOLVE 129 and EVOLVE 130 events this weekend due to O’Reilly suffering a back injury.
Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin reported that the official reason for O’Reilly’s removal from EVOLVE’s upcoming events is due to him currently dealing with a staph infection in his back. It was reported that the infection was caused by the stitches he received for his back following the NXT Tag Team Championship ladder match at NXT TakeOver: XXV, which was held earlier this month.
It was also reported that WWE officials are currently expecting O’Reilly to be fully healed from his staph infection within a week or two.
