AEW says that Cody Rhodes received 12 staples in his head, but he does not have a concussion after being busted open by a brutal chair shot from Shawn Spears at AEW Fyter Fest tonight.

There was some fear that Cody may have suffered a concussion, since he had a dazed look on his face afterwards and the chair shot left him with what appeared to be a gash in the back/side of his head and lying in a puddle of blood.
Spears came out for the attack after Rhodes’ match against Darby Allin, which went to a 20 minute time limit draw.

Phenomenal match between Cody and Darby, but @Perfec10n had to leave his mark on #FyterFest.
