The Los Angeles Times has an article up on MyNetworkTV, discussing the rise in the ratings, especially on Friday night, which are up 150%.
TheSlate.com has posted a review of The Wrestler, which was written by Mick Foley. In the review, Foley discusses Mickey Rourke’s hard work, the parts of the movie that hit too close to home for aging wrestlers as well as some parts of the film he didn’t enjoy.
The Wrestler grossed $46,928 in it’s first day open in New York. The film only played in four theatres, and averaged $11,732.
With The Wrestler gaining so much media attention, The Wall Street Journal did a feature on Jersey All Pro Wrestling, its 11th anniversary and the wrestlers that perform for the company.
