According to AEW president Tony Khan at a post-All Out press conference, Kylie Rae requested her release at some point and AEW granted it. Khan said that the release was “amicable.”
She’s no longer with us. She asked for her release and we granted it. She called me and asked if she could be released from her contract and it was pretty simple. I said yeah and asked her if everything was OK and she said yeah. She didn’t want to be with the company anymore. We talked about it and it was very simple. So yeah, she’s not on our roster. Amicable. She’s a very nice person.
Back in July, Dave Meltzer reported that Kylie Rae had been out with a “medical issue” and the specifics were being kept quiet. It’s not clear if that was related to her release.
Her Twitter account is also no longer up.
She has only wrestled one match for AEW at Double or Nothing on May 25, losing a four way against Britt Baker, Nyla Rose and Awesome Kong.
