Lio Rush Returns

Lio Rush returned to WWE TV tonight for the first time since WrestleMania in April.

Rush defeated Oney Lorcan in a hot match to become the #1 contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and got a very good reaction from the NXT crowd.

Rush has been off of WWE TV since speaking openly about reports of backstage heat on him and turning down a new 5 year contract offer, reportedly requesting more money.

WWE Network Issues

There were several reports all over Twitter and the rest of the internet that people were having trouble getting onto the WWE Network at 9 PM ET when NXT switched over from USA.

Dark Matches

These dark matches were taped before NXT went on the air:

– Angel Garza defeated Raul Mendoza

– Damien Priest defeated Kona Reeves – Reeves was busted open “the hard way” during the match and was helped to the back by officials and a doctor. He was being checked for a concussion after the match as a precaution, according to PWInsider.
