From WWE:
As part of WWE Premiere Week, new voices will be brought to the Raw, NXT and SmackDown broadcasts. Rawβs new announce team will include play-by-play from Vic Joseph with Dio Maddin and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry βThe Kingβ Lawler serving as analysts; NXT play-by-play will be called by Mauro Ranallo with Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuiness as analysts; and SmackDown will feature Michael Cole handling play-by-play, Corey Graves serving as analyst and Renee Young as a Special Contributor.
It’s not clear what Renee Young’s role as a “special contributor” means. PWInsider reported that she will be leaving the announce team to focus on WWE’s FS1 studio show, WWE Backstage.
No word on what Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton’s future roles will be now, if any.
Dio Maddin is former NXT wrestler and NFL player Brennan Williams. He joined the 205 Live commentary team two weeks ago.
