WWE wrestlers and crew who were stuck in Saudi Arabia finally landed at JFK Airport in NYC today at around noon ET.
Over 150 wrestlers, production crew and other employees were on the plane and were stranded in Saudi Arabia since Thursday because of what WWE said was “several aircraft problems including mechanical issues.” A separate plane carrying 12 wrestlers and 8 other WWE crew members, which WWE arranged as a backup flight in the hope of arriving to SmackDown on time, also ended up being delayed and arrived in Buffalo on Friday night at around 9:30.
The ordeal still doesn’t seem to be over for some wrestlers though, who reportedly were delayed leaving JFK and missed their connecting flights to go home, according to PWInsider.
Oh no, here come the falsies. Missed connection flight to home. Match continues.

A LARGE amount of our crew was stuck overseas yesterday. My friend @WWERobinson took initiative & performed production duties that he normally doesn't do. So cool to see someone with 23 years of experience in our business have such a work ethic. One of the unsung heroes of @WWE. pic.twitter.com/bd5pCi1Osr
