We open backstage, where MJF and the Don Callis Family are standing by. We hear from MJF first, who has us look at his World Title before addressing his enemies/challengers Eddie Kingston style. He respects Kevin Knight’s fire, brushes past Andrade El Idolo’s recent challenges, and mocks Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega before honing in on Mark Briscoe. He says that the rest of the names he listed are top acts, but everyone just feels bad for Mark because his brother died.
None of his prayers to become champion will come to pass after Forbidden Door. He tells Callis to announce the members of DCMJF: Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and…Andrade! (Should be worth noting that Trent Beretta starts to walk up before the last name is announced, lol) El Idolo is NOT happy about this, saying MJF thinks Andrade will join him…well, how you know?
Callis works to defuse the situation as everyone walks off aside from a slightly dejected Beretta before we head to ringside, where commentary runs down the lineup for the show.

Also at ringside are the Premier Athletes, who came to the ring looking for a match…and it sees Tony Khan has one for them, with Kenny Omega making his entrance first. We find out this is a singles contest, with Tony Nese set to take on the Best Bout Machine as Omega gets to the ring to get this match underway!
Omega gets distracted early on by Mark Sterling, allowing Nese to take control…but not for long, as Kenny turns it around with a snap dragon suplex followed by a V-Trigger. Sterling tries to distract him again but get knocked to the floor, before Omega lands a One-Winged Angel on Nese for the win.
Winner: Kenny Omega via Pinfall.
Omega gets a microphone after the match, but can’t get a word in before TMDK make their way out. Zach Sabre Jr. is flanked by Mikey Nichols and Bad Dude Tito as they head to the ring, with Omega leaving the ring rather than get into a confrontation with his opponent for Forbidden Door. The Young Bucks and Jack Perry come out to even the numbers out, as Sabre grabs the microphone…only to toss it toward Omega.
Kenny grabs the mic and speaks, saying he doesn’t know what TMDK stands for and neither do they. He addresses the match at Forbidden Door, saying he knows it would be nice for Sabre to get a notch in the win column against one of the best and stating Sabre’s got his friends with him, and Kenny has his as well.
Let’s keep it 1v1 at the ‘pape’ and for now, he’ll bid you adieu. TMDK don’t have a catchphrase we know, but to them he says goodnight (mwah), and goodbye (bang)!
Omega’s music hits.
Video: The Dogs, The Gunns, Juice Robinson, The Young Bucks
We take a look back at Collision Summer Blockbuster, where The Dogs took out the Young Bucks for the win. We’ll hear from them later tonight.
We also still have the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament Semifinal coming up, along with a face-to-face between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland ahead of their Men’s Owen Hart Tournament final at Forbidden Door. Speaking of the PPV, our main event tonight is a 12-Man Tag between MJF’s and Mark Briscoe’s squads ahead of the steel cage match at Forbidden Door. With that, Dynamite rolls on!
Death Riders (Daniel Garcia & Jon Moxley) vs. Brodido (Brody King & Bandido)
It's not the size of the dog, but the size of the bark in the dog!

Death Riders make their way out first, coming through the crowd to get ready for our opening match. Out next is Brodido, and we get this match underway!
Bandido and Garcia start the match off with an exchange of offense that Bandido ends up winning, taking Garcia to the mat before Daniel turns it around to send the luchador down as well. This ends in a standoff before Garcia mocks Bandido’s pose…and cuts the ROH World Champion off from doing the same, before sending him down with a shoulder tackle.
Bandido fights back for a dropkick on Garcia, bringing him to the corner for a tag to Brody. They double-team with an assisted suplex sending Bandido crashing onto Daniel…but he pops back up to stop the pair from doing the Macarena. Garcia shows off his own moves but takes chops from the former tag champs. Mox reaches out for a tag and gets it, standing across from King as he mouths off at him. They go nose-to-nose before trading forearm strikes, leading to an exchange of chops.
Seriously, call it an early Christmas the way these two are trading hard strikes back and forth, until Moxley is rattled by a chop from Brody. Mox responds with a poke to the eye to gain the advantage, following up with a bite on the head before hitting the ropes…but King cuts him off, forcing him to the outside. Bandido goes for the assist and lands a dive onto both opponents, sending them to the floor as we go to break.
Back in the ring, King lands some hard shots on Mox in the corner before taking Garcia away with one last one. Mox drops to the mat from the impact, using the ropes to get back to his feet…only for Brody to send him back to the ropes. They trade strikes again, until King blocks a lariat and goes for a powerbomb. Mox breaks free to take him down with a cutter, but King is back on his feet already…before Jon lays him down with a lariat!
Tags are made to Bandido and Garcia, the latter being launched into the corner with a belly to belly suplex by Bandido as we see Mox chatting with Shafir at ringside. Garcia leaves the ring to get a breather, as Brody goes for a dive…but is cut off when Marina stands in the way. She lets out a bark at Brody, who responds in kind. This goes back and forth, proving to be a distraction as Mox comes at King with a dive through the ropes!
He lays into Brody some more before landing a piledriver onto the floor, leading to Bandido looking for revenge…only to be sent into the barricade by Garcia. Mox brings Brody back into the ring before making the tag to Garcia, who drops King hard to the mat for a two count. He lands a few more shots on King to keep him down before tagging in Jon, who brings King back to his feet before landing some shots to bring him to the corner.
He digs his nails into the back of Brody before setting him up on the turnbuckle for a superplex off the top, continuing to keep the pressure on King as we go to ad break.
We come back just as Bandido gets knocked off the apron by Mox, leading to a tag to Garcia to keep things going. The Death Riders go back and forth on this, until King lays them out with a double lariat followed by a tag to Bandido! Torneo by the luchador takes the Continental Champion out, and a press slam sends Garcia on top of Mox.
Garcia leaves the ring as Mox goes after Bandido, but he gets sent into the ropes…where he cuts off Bandido from a 21 Plex attempt! Mox goes for a delayed vertical suplex on the luchador, who counters it with one of his own before Shafir slides into the ring with the ref distracted. She goes for a suplex on Bandido, but Bandido hoists her up for a delayed vertical suplex before dropping her to the mat. Garcia comes back in on a tag, but gets taken out by Bandido…only for Mox to break the pin!
Brody takes Mox out of the ring as Bandido goes for an inside cradle, but Daniel counters for one of his own for a two count. Bandido sets him up for a 21 Plex as Brody dives through the ropes to keep Mox away, and this gets Brodido the win!
Winner: Brodido via Pinfall.
The pair celebrates.

We cut backstage, where we hear from Protokada (Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada). Fletcher talks about bringing back the International Championship back to the Don Callis Family, but first they have some business to attend to regarding Forbidden Door. They know one person who will NOT join Mark Briscoe…and that is Tomohiro Ishii, as we see Mark’s friend Conglomeration (and former CHAOS stablemate of Okada) laid out on the floor. The pair joke about Briscoe not being able to find friends for his big tag match before walking away.

Backstage, Tommaso Ciampa admits he doesn’t need to list off 1004 reasons why he hates Chris Jericho. He needs just one (juuuust oooone…). He talks about the Jericho he looked up to as he got into the business, contrasting it with the Jericho he shared the ring with last week with the jokes and everything else. If he’s gonna bring that Jericho here, stay out of his world…but if Jericho thinks he’s still got it, if he thinks Ciampa is worthy, go ahead. The ball’s in your court…don’t drop it. He shoves his chair away before walking off.

Back at ringside, The Dogs’ music hits before we cut backstage, where Cage and Cope blindside the men who attacked them a few weeks ago. They bring The Dogs to the ring, setting Connors up for a spear before Finlay brings him out of harm’s way. They escape through the crowd, and I’m guessing we won’t hear from The Dogs after all.
Cage grabs a microphone, talking about their win at Double Or Nothing. People are probably expecting Christian to have something to say about certain family members, but he just can’t believe there’s a tag team named after their own mothers. He then says, uh, something relating to Finlay’s father that I’m not sure I should repeat in this recap lol.
Cope takes the mic to say he understands why The Dogs attacked them and were doing the five-second poses…they’re the champs from 30 years ago. He promises he and Cage will use their old man strength and grumpiness…and send The Dogs back out the Forbidden Door as housebroken little pups.
With the challenge laid out for the upcoming PPV, commentary runs down other matches set for Forbidden Door

Backstage, Thekla responds by addressing her similar journey in STARDOM ending with her being kicked out of the company. She says Tony Khan’s favorite non-AEW wrestler may be Starlight Kid, but the champ doesn’t care about being anyone’s favorite…all she needs is the title.
She promises to take off Kid’s mask and spit all over it, because on this side of the Forbidden Door, Thekla runs this place.

Back at ringside, Mercedes Moné makes her entrance for our next match as she shows off the Owen Hart Tournament belt she is basically defending in this year’s tournament. Out next is Hazuki, sporting some gold of her own with the Spark Joshi World Championship as she comes to the ring to get this match underway!
The two lock up before Moné takes Hazuki to the mat. She brings Hazuki back up and to the ropes, only for Hazuki to fight back form the corner. Mercedes lands an arm drag for a nearfall, before Hazuki counters for a two count of her own. She sends Moné into the ropes, stomping away before the CEO escapes the ring to evade a running kick.
She walks up the ramp to look at the Owen Hart Cup, looking to get it back this year before heading back to the ring…where she gets taken down with a headscissors by Hazuki! This forces the CEO to leave the ring, taking solace in the presence of the trophy once more as we head to ad break.
Back from break, Mercedes catches her opponent with a lungblower but only gets a two count before Hazuki manages to get out of the ring. Moné follows her to the outside, laying into Hazuki before bringing her back into the ring for a nearfall. She pulls Hazuki up for a snapmare, doing that two more times for good measure before driving her boot into the face against the ropes…followed by a running Meteora, pulling her in for a cover and a two count.
She kicks away at Hazuki before sending her to the ropes, only for Hazuki to drop her to the floor for a dive twice over sending the CEO into the barricade each time. She does one more dive, sending the fomer TBS Champion down hard to the floor! Hazuki brings Moné back into the ring, going up top for a missile dropkick. Cover by Hazuki gets a two, and she transitions to a crossface. Moné tries to counter once but Hazuki rolls through, before the CEO manages to get a foot on the ropes to force the break.
Mercedes starts fighting back, setting up for two vertical suplexes…but there will be no third Amigo as Hazuki blocks the final suplex, only to be dropped to the mat. She rolls to the ramp outside, where Moné lands a Meteora sending Hazuki down hard as we go to break.
Both women are in the ring as we come back, with Hazuki firing back with some shots on Moné in the corner. She backs off just enough to charge at the CEO, landing a lungblower that sends Mercedes to the mat. She goes up top for a senton, landing flush on it as she goes for the cover but only gets a two…and once again goes for a submission, only for Moné to counter for a nearfall to break the hold.
She has control of the wrist as she and Hazuki trade strikes on the mat. Hazuki wins out as she gets back to her feet, keeping last year’s Owen winner down with a pump kick…but she falls to the mat as well! The ref starts a standing count as the women struggle to get back up, using the ropes for leverage. Hazuki intercepts a charging Moné with a DDT followed by a hook kick, but the cover only gets her a two. Brainbuster connects, but Mercedes rolls out of the ring to escape whatever might come next.
Hazuki follows close behind to bring the CEO back to the ring, but Moné goes for another lungblower…only for Hazuki to counter for a nearfall! They trade nearfalls before Mercedes gets back to her feet, snapping Hazuki down into a Statement Maker…before Hazuki manages to roll through, getting a cradle for a two count!
Mercedes brings her back up looking for a Money Maker…but Hazuki counters out of that for another nearfall! Kasadora gets countered by the CEO, who rolls through to trap Hazuki in the Statement Maker…and there is nowhere for Hazuki to go as she taps out!
Winner: Mercedes Mone via Submission.
Mercedes celebrates.

We head back to ringside as Tony Schiavone talks about the men’s Final set for a week from Sunday, before introducing Will Ospreay to the ring first. He congratulates Will on getting married and acknowledges him coming straight here for tonight, with Ospreay admitting he should’ve been on honeymoon right now but his wife said to stay focused and “we can go to Hawaii anytime you’d like.” He then talks about what he did to make it up to his wife (something I cannot repeat in this recap, good lord bruv) before heading to Houston tonight.
Tony, coming down from the shock of what Ospreay said, introduces his opponent for Forbidden Door next. Out comes Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, the latter telling Tony his suit is way too tight before telling him to get out of the ring.
Swerve takes the mic, saying there’s something different about Ospreay as he notes that he hasn’t gotten a text back from him in months. Ospreay addresses possible changes, including his hair being more under control now. He also sees a difference in Swerve…and it’s the way he’s looking at Will right now. Swerve changes the subject to Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, to which Ospreay offers to talk about it.
He’s had to let things go in spite of what Moxley did to him last year at Forbidden Door in London, remembering everyone who tried to come to his aid when his neck was nearly snapped…everyone but Swerve Strickland.
He then looks back at All In Texas when the two of them worked together to take down the Young Bucks, before asking why Swerve didn’t come to help when he needed it most…before knocking the mic out of Strickland’s hand, saying he doesn’t actually want an answer from him. He talks about how much the World Title means to him, especially with the shot possibly coming at Wembley Stadium.
He remembers all his friends at school having the dream of scoring the winning goal at Wembley Stadium, and while everyone else is talking about the Owen Hart Cup final, for Ospreay this is the semifinal of his World Cup. Swerve cuts him off by taking his mic and saying that the dream won’t happen if he gets there first, running him down for all the chat about it being Hangman Page’s time last year. Where is Hangman now?
Swerve continues running Ospreay down, making some remarks that get muted out on the feed for a moment. Strickland points out that Will Ospreay has not been able to beat Strickland, especially with the tidal wave of his popularity in 2024. So when Swerve beats him and goes on to win the world title a second time, he’ll look to just beat Will over and over again. This riles Ospreay up to the point where he knocks this mic away, sending Strickland to the mat. Swerve heads to the corner, where Nana hands him a steel chain before the Death Riders come out to the ring.
This leads Strickland to take the mic back, saying Will is wrong, he really has changed. He leaves the ring with Nana as Ospreay’s music hits

We head back to ringside as MJF and the Don Callis Family head down for our main event. We find out that per Tony Khan, if either team gets disqualified in this match they will lose a man advantage at Forbidden Door. Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe and his Conglomeration pals Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, as Briscoe reveals his team. He confirms that after the Protokada attack earlier tonight, Tomohiro Ishii will be back and they will avenge him.
In the meantime, Briscoe reveals that in addition to his buddies they’ve got two other guys who have heat with the Family: Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin! With that, we head to ringside as that team makes its entrance, and after this commercial break we will have ourselves a riot of a main event!
We start off with MJF and Briscoe…or maybe not brother, as MJF tags in Andrade right away. He takes Briscoe down hard before leaving the ring, looking to pose with a fan for a selfie…but Mark catches him with a dropkick before bringing El Idolo back into the ring. Mounted punches in the corner by Briscoe, who tags in Cassidy to land one last shot…only to be taken tot he mat by Andrade! Orange retaliates by pulling the pants of Andrade down, but he cuts him off before finishing the job himself.
Tag made to Kyle Fletcher, and Kyle O’Reilly tags in as well as we get a rematch of the Kyles. “Let’s Go Kyle” chant as the two lock up, trading offense as O’Reilly goes for a double wristlock before Fletcher escapes. O’Reilly with a takedown, spinning around on the back before Fletcher gets back to his feet. O’Reilly with a kick to take Fletcher down before Darby gets the tag and…ah, here we are, all everyone goes at it in the ring.
Chaos ensues with these 12 Angry Men, the majority of whom take the fight out of the ring as we see Darby land a Coffin Drop followed by a Takeshita dive. Things settle down with Darby and MJF standing off in the ring, only for Knight to blindside Darby. Fletcher goes on the attack for a bit, before Kevin argues with him about who wants to beat up Allin. This continues as we see a tag made, right as we go to ad break.
Back from break, Fletcher lays into Cassidy before setting him up for an attack from Doyle. MJF tags in to get the scraps, looking do the same thing…but Jake ends up attacking the arm of the World Champion instead! MJF has it out with Doyle as Roderick Strong gets the tag, laying out backbreakers aplenty. Doyle gets the tag in the midst of all this, and takes a chop from Strong…but is also stepping on Roddy’s foot to keep him from going anywhere.
Strong fires back with a chop to break free, landing a suplex to take Doyle to the mat. Jake is back up and lands a shoulderbreaker on Strong, only for O’Reilly to charge in for an assist. He lands some hard shots on Doyle as Andrade rushes in, taking him out. Meanwhile, Darby comes in to go after El Idolo, but is taken down by Knight before Takeshita comes in. Fletcher tries to set him up for Okada, but Protokada get laid out before Takeshita drops Fletcher to the mat with a Blue Thunder Bomb!
MJF gets the tag, but so too does Mark Briscoe. Before anything can happen, Knight goes after Briscoe only to take a right hand. He sends back the rest of the Family before setting up for a Jay Driller on the world champ…but he blocks it long enough for Knight to get involved, before Darby comes running in for the save!
He goes after Kevin as they leave the ring, taking said fight to the stage before Doyle traps Darby…and sends him crashing into the ring post nearby! Back in the ring, Briscoe breaks free from a Heatseeker before dropping the champ with a Jay Driller! He goes for the cover…but Don Callis comes running down the ramp to distract the ref, forcing Jay to break his pin to deal with Don who runs away.
He pulls MJF to the middle of the ring for a Froggy Bow, but gets knocked down by Fletcher as Strong makes a tag. He goes for End of Heartache on the champ, but MJF counters into Salt of the Earth forcing Roddy to tap out!
Winner: MJF & Don Callis Family via Submission.
The baddies look to continue the beatdown after the match, laying in some major damage on Mark Briscoe and his pals in the process. Andrade refuses to do as MJF says before Callis ensures him that he’ll still get some good money and his title shot down the line. Eventually, Andrade holds Briscoe up as MJF attacks him with his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
Commentary talks about what’s going down on Collision as Team MJF stands tall to bring Dynamite to a close.
