Rusev Comments on the Lana Affair Storyline Being the Best WWE Storyline in Years

United Kingdom-based newspaper The Sun held a recent interview with Rusev and one of the topics discussed included his thoughts on he and his wife Lana’s on-going affair storyline in WWE.

“There’s adjustments that we make, but that’s just life.

We’re committed to our characters on TV, so we just have to make slight adjustments, but we’re professionals and we’re coping with it.

It’s great, I think we are in the best storyline currently going on and the best storyline that’s been around for years.

It’s getting a lot of views and a lot of eyes on it. Some people like it, some people love it, but at the end of the day, it’s the hottest storyline going on.”

Sin Cara WWE Status Update

As noted before, Sin Cara recently requested his released from WWE due to wanting to go in a new direction for his career despite recently signing a new three-year contract with the company.

WWE officials currently have no plans to approve Sin Cara’s request, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported. It was also reported that Sin Cara is currently expected to continue working the remainder of the company’s European tour and will be sent home afterwards instead of traveling with the RAW brand for next week’s television tapings in Boston, Massachusetts.

All plans the company had for Sin Cara following the tour reportedly have also been dropped.
