AEW continued their clean sweep over NXT in the viewer battle during 2020, but both shows were down this week.
AEW Dynamite drew 865,000 viewers on TNT, down from last week’s 893,000 viewers.
NXT drew 717,000 viewers on USA, down from last week’s 794,000 viewers.
AEW was #9 for the day on cable in the 18-49 demographic with a 0.30 rating, while NXT was #17 with a 0.23 rating.
AEW beat NXT in every viewer demographic, including people 50+ years old, which NXT usually wins.
The one hour AEW “Countdown to Revolution” special that aired after Dynamite on TNT drew 383,000 viewers.
