WWE reportedly had issues with their original plans for television tapings at the Performance Center on Monday, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that WWE officials originally planned for Monday’s taping schedule to start at 1PM EST but due to several issues, television tapings for RAW did not start until around 2:30PM EST.
Johnson reported that the reason for the delay was due to WWE rewriting their creative plans for RAW’s set of tapings due to several talents who were originally scheduled for the tapings were no longer available to perform on Monday.
Johnson also speculated that the sudden changes could also have been due to the negative reception to Extreme Rules, leading to WWE officials deciding to change the direction of their original creative plans.
WWE’s full taping schedule for Monday was for two episodes to be taped each for RAW, RAW Talk, and Main Event to cover the July 20th and July 27th airing dates.
