WWE has signed four former EVOLVE wrestlers to developmental/NXT contracts, according to PWInsider.
– Josh Briggs – Briggs was the final EVOLVE Champion, defeating Austin Theory on November 9, 2019.
– Brandi Lauren – Lauren has appeared on NXT and WWE in various miscellaneous roles in the past couple of years, including as one of the women sitting next to Velveteen Dream’s couch, in the hot tub with Damian Priest at TakeOver XXX, and even on Raw Underground recently. She also wrestled in Impact from 2017-2018 as Ava Storie. She’s currently dating Joey Janela.
– “Retro” Anthony Greene – Lauren was also Greene’s “valet” in EVOLVE.
– Curt Stallion – Stallion is a good friend of Matt Riddle, who also wrestled in EVOLVE.
WWE also signed Leon Ruff last month and also signed former EVOLVE referee Jake Clemons.
WWE bought EVOLVE in early July.
