WWE Reportedly Considering Having Around 25,000 Fans at WrestleMania

WWE is reportedly planning to have around 25,000 fans for each night of WrestleMania this year, according to WrestleVotes.

WrestleMania 37 will take place over two nights on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

The stadium has a capacity of about 66,000. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had been allowing 25% capacity – around 16,000 fans – to their home games this year.

WWE announced last week that they will release ticket information in the coming weeks, saying, “In coordination with local partners and government officials, WWE will announce ticket availability and safety protocols for WrestleMania 37 in the coming weeks. Information on additional WrestleMania Week events is forthcoming.”

PWInsider also says that the plan right now is for each “main card” of the show to run from 7-10 PM ET, plus a Kickoff show before that. Of course, that could change and the show could end up running longer than 10.

There have also been rumors of a possible virtual Hall of Fame event, but that isn’t 100% yet, PWInsider says. Last year’s Hall of Fame ceremony did not take place because of COVID.
