As noted before, WWE recently announced that they have signed Priscilla Kelly, Elayna Black, and Lacey Ryan to developmental contracts. All three were also announced to be making their official debuts for the NXT brand at the inaugural Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
Fightful Select reported that WWE officials had been interested in singing all three since this past November. Black and Ryan reportedly were considered as guarantees to receive a contract following their tryouts in November of last year while WWE had been interested in Kelly for some time. It was also reported that WWE has recently taken an “aggressive” approach to signing up free agent talents.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that WWE’s next class of recruits is currently scheduled to report to the Performance Center next month. This new class reportedly has at least three new signings that have not been officially announced or confirmed yet.
