At Impact’s Rebellion PPV next month (Saturday, April 24), both the AEW World Championship and Impact World Championship will be on the line in a title vs. title match, with AEW Champ Kenny Omega taking on either Rich Swann or Moose.
Swann, the Impact World Champion, will face Moose, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion this Saturday at Impact’s Sacrifice Impact Plus special. The winner of that match will become the unified Impact champion, winning both the Impact World title and TNA title, and they will face Omega at Rebellion next month in an AEW title vs. Impact unified title match.

The matches and stipulations were announced on tonight’s Impact episode by Scott D’Amore in an in-ring segment with Swann and Moose. After the segment, Don Callis was shown backstage talking on the phone to Kenny Omega, saying, “Just like we planned.”
During Omega’s first appearance on Impact in December, he teased a “belt collector” gimmick, where he would “collect” titles from several different promotions. In addition to the AEW Championship, Omega is currently the AAA Mega Champion, Lucha Libre AAA’s top title.
