Earlier this week, Warrior Wrestling announced that Kylie Rae will be returning to the ring on June 5 for the first time since appearing to retire from wrestling in November.
According to PWInsider, Rae is still “technically” signed with Impact, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that she’ll return to the company. PWInsider says that “everyone [in Impact] has been extremely sensitive to the fact that she’s had personal issues that led to her pulling out of working for the company.”
In March of last year, Impact announced that Rae signed a “long-term” contract with the company.
In November, she reportedly no-showed the Impact Bound for Glory PPV and posted a message saying, “I’m truly sorry for the pain I’ve caused and miscommunication, I am currently unwell” and “I wanted to take this time to say I am no longer a professional wrestler and am currently taking a break from social media. It’s been a very hard decision to make but please understand.”
Warrior Wrestling announced that Rae’s opponent for her return match would be Thunder Rosa. Rae will be defending her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship, which she has held since September 12 when she defeated Tessa Blanchard.
