Batista will apparently no longer be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
He was originally announced for last year’s 2020 class, which is going to be inducted together with the 2021 class this year, but Batista is no longer listed on WWE’s website as an inductee this year. WWE’s original post announcing his induction back in 2019 also now says “access denied.”
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the unconfirmed reason floating around is that Batista won’t be able to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony this year because of a scheduling conflict, so he may be inducted next year instead.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will air on Tuesday, April 6 on Peacock.
