Big WWE DVD Release Cancelled, New WWE Referee, More

— WWE has canceled its planned RAW: The Best of Seasons 3 & 4 DVD set due to low sales of RAW”The Beginning”: The Best of Seasons 1 & 2, reports WWEDVDNews.com.

The organization still plans to release “Best of” titles on all Monday Night RAW seasons, but not for the foreseeable future.

WWE had also planned to release a DVD and Blu-ray set highlighting Triple H later this year, but it has been postponed until 2012.

— Tony Smith, a referee in Florida Championship Wrestling, said on Twitter that he has been called up to main roster. He leaves for the road this Saturday.
