Andrade has had talks with AEW, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but Meltzer added that he was “not sure where they stand.”
Andrade was released by WWE on March 21 by his request and does not have a 90 day non-compete clause, so he’s free to work anywhere right now.
Earlier this month, Andrade challenged Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship for Lucha Libre AAA in Mexico.
Si Kenny omega acepta nos vemos en triplemania @luchalibreaaa y @Psychooriginal nos vemos pronto. If kenny accepts the challenge, see you at #Triplemania and Psycho see you soon. #ElIdolo #Andrade #LaSombra #AAA 👊🏼 https://t.co/MElHBujkdI
