John Cena will have a role in an upcoming spy movie called “Argylle,” according to Variety.
The movie is based on a yet-to-be-released novel by the same name by first-time author Ellie Conway and “will follow the globe-trotting adventures of a super-spy named Argylle across the U.S., London and other exotic locations.”
Cena’s specific role isn’t publicly known yet.
The movie will also feature Henry Cavill (Superman), Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara and Dua Lipa.
Shooting is set to begin next month in Europe. John Cena has been rumored for SummerSlam, which takes place on August 21, so it’s possible that this may affect WWE’s plans.
