Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2,237,000 overnight viewers on FOX, up from last week’s 2,084,000 final viewers.
It drew a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from last week’s final rating of 0.58.
Hourly breakdown:
– Hour 1: 2,213,000
– Hour 2: 2,260,000
Last week’s overnight viewership of 2,499,000 and 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic was later revealed to have been artificially inflated due to it containing viewership from NFL pre-season games that aired in several FOX markets during SmackDown’s time slot.
Last year’s SmackDown on August 21, 2020 drew 2,126,000 viewers.
