Current AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker and Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo reportedly have recently pushed the idea for a crossover women’s feud to take place between both promotions, according to Fightful Select.
During a recent interview with Fightful, Purrazzo revealed that she recently held talks with Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore which revolved around the idea of a potential champions crossover feud with AEW’s Baker. Purrazzo also stated that she also pitched an idea for her and Baker to team up together to challenge for the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship, which is currently held by Decay’s Rosemary and Havoc.
It was reported that Baker has also recently held talks with AEW CEO Tony Khan over a similar idea of a potential crossover feud with Impact’s Knockouts division.
It was also reported that it is currently not known if AEW and Impact officials are currently working on plans for interpromotional women’s division feuds but ideas for one have been floated around in recent times based on their sources.
