Prior to his release yesterday, Vince McMahon had pulled Karrion Kross from TV in order to repackage him again because he felt that he hadn’t gotten over, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE had Kross lose his first main roster match to Jeff Hardy in under two minutes, then put him in a bizarre helmet and Demolition-like outfit for a few weeks and unsurprisingly, he didn’t get over. McMahon reportedly eventually also felt that the helmet gimmick “didn’t click,” so plans were made for another gimmick change, the Observer added.
Kross last wrestled on Raw on September 27, defeating Jaxson Ryker, and last wrestled at a WWE house show on October 10.
Kross joked about his helmet on Twitter.
Nobody wants that piece of shit brother. 😂
