Nikkita Lyons Suffers Partial MCL Injury
This past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT featured WWE’s announcement that Nikkita Lyons was pulled from their NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament due to her suffering an injury. Tiffany Stratton was announced to be Lyons’ replacement for her scheduled match against Fallon Henley, which was won by Stratton.
Lyons recently provided an injury update on Instagram stating that she had suffered a partial MCL tear but will not need to undergo surgery and she has already started her rehab process.
WWE Brand Split Status Update
The Mat Men Pro Wrestling’s Andrew Zarian reported on Twitter that his sources stated that WWE officials currently do not have any plans to end their current brand split any time soon.
These same sources stated that WWE officials are currently planning for more RAW and SmackDown talents to jump from brand to brand depending on storylines.

WWE source stated that the brand split will not be ending.

Most recently, SmackDown brand talents Roman Reigns and The Usos and RAW brand talents Riddle and Randy Orton have made appearances over the past couple months on the other brand’s shows. These appearances have been part of the on-going feud between RK-Bro and the Bloodline involving the RAW and SmackDown Tag team Championships.
The Steiner Brothers Comment on Their Induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame
A recent Sign It Live streaming event from Highspots Wrestling featured the Steiner Brothers, Rick and Scott Steiner as the guests. One of the topics discussed included Rick Steiner’s thoughts on their recent induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame.
“For me, being there [WrestleMania 38 week], it was a red carpet. It was a pretty great time and to experience it all with my family and then have my son [Bron Breakker] introduce both of us, I mean, you know, not many parents or fathers get to — it was just an awesome moment for me and to do it with my brother and finally get recognized for all those years of banging and bouncing, hitting and kicking and all that, wear and tear on the bodies and now to actually be recognized and be in that elite group of guys and walk down there and just be a part of that whole WrestleMania thing, it was awesome… For me, it was unbelievable, you know?”
On the topic of Ric Flair’s announcement of his return to the ring for his final match, Scott Steiner stated:
“He [Ric Flair] ain’t no old friend of mine. I would kill him [in the ring]. I’d destroy him. Yeah, everybody wants to see him get beat up.”
