During New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Climax 2022 Finals event today in Tokyo, Japan, two video ads aired during the intermission break revealing that the company will be holding a new event in New York this fall and Wrestle Kingdom return as a one night event.
In regards to the New York event, it was announced that this event is called Rumble on 44th Street and will take place on October 28th at the Palladium Times Square in New York City, New York. It was also announced that talent from Stardom will also be appearing at this upcoming event. Tickets for this upcoming event was announced to officially go on sale starting on August 25th.
Friday October 28 sees NJPW’s biggest event in the US since Capital Collision this past May, as Rumble on 44th Street hits the Palladium in Times Square. The stars will be out for the fall’s most significant American card, which will include the best of STARDOM for the very first time as part of an NJPW card in America! Under a month before Historic X Over in the Ariake Arena November 20, what will come of STARDOM and NJPW’s return to the Big Apple for the first time since 2019?

In regards to next year’s Wrestle Kingdom event, it was announced that Wrestle Kingdom 17 will be returning to a one night format and will take place on its traditional date of January 4th in 2023 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It was also announced that New Year Dash will also be returning and will take place at its traditional date of January 5th in 2023.
