Current Card for WWE NXT Worlds Collide 2022

During Wednesday’s NXT show, WWE officially announced four new matches for their card of their upcoming NXT Worlds Collide 2022 event, which takes place on September 4th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The new matches announced were:

  • NXT North American Championship – Ricochet vs. Carmelo Hayes (c)
  • NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship – Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance (c)
  • Best 2-out-of-3 match – Nathan Frazer vs. Axiom
  • NXT Tag Team Championship & NXT UK Tag Team Championship Unification Fatal Four-way match – Gallus vs. Pretty Deadly vs. The Creed Brothers (NXT Tag) vs. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen (NXT UK Tag)

WWE Rehires Santana Garrett & Hires Alexander James for Performance Center

WWE recently hired Santana Garrett and Alexander James to coaching jobs at their Performance Center.

Garrett announced on Twitter that she had been recently rehired by the company to her former coaching job at their Performance Center. Prior to her hiring, Garrett had previously worked in WWE from August of 2019 to June of 2021.

The announcement of James hiring was first announced by his wife and Impact Wrestling talent Killer Kelly during a recent interview with Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Besides working as a coach for WWE’s Performance Center, James was also hired to work as a producer for WWE’s NXT brand based on a recent profile update on Instagram.


Clash at the Castle News & Notes

WWE recently announced that the official theme song for their upcoming Clash at the Castle event on September 3rd in Cardiff, Wales is “Run” by rock band Our Lady Peace.

During this past Monday’s RAW Talk show, WWE announced that Matt Camp, Jackie Redmond, and Peter Rosenberg will be the panelists for the Kickoff show of their upcoming Clash at the Castle event.
