Plans are in place for a match between Sting and Mick Foley to take place at April’s Lockdown pay-per-view.
Local advertising in Philadelphia for this weekend’s on-sale date plugged this particular match. Additionally, independent TNA sources have also confirmed the company’s plans for the match.
This will actually not be their first encounter as the two wrestling legends tangled in a Falls Count Anywhere match at the WCW Beach Blast pay-per-view in June 1992.
Other matches expected to take place at Lockdown include Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner, and Booker T vs. AJ Styles.
The pre-sale for the event begins tomorrow at www.ComcastTix.com with the password ICON. Lockdown will be held at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, on Sunday, April 19.
