AEW has released Ace Steel, who had been working as a producer and was involved in the backstage fight between CM Punk, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega last month, allegedly biting Omega and throwing a chair at Nick Jackson.
“He was officially released yesterday,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “So I guess that is the first bit of news out of that whole situation in weeks. There’s a lot of other stuff going on.”
There’s still no word on the status of CM Punk, Kenny Omega or the Young Bucks.
