Thursday’s Impact Wrestling’s Impact show featured a show closing segment with Violent By Design’s Eric Young and Deaner in a prison. This segment involved Young telling Deaner to “eliminate the sickness” once and for all, which Young implied was himself. A scuffle then took place with both men attacking each other and trying to stab the other with a shiv. Before Deaner delivered the finishing blow, Young told him that while he was the Designer, Deaner was the Design of VBD.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Young’s contract with Impact recently expired and he is currently expected to return to WWE soon. Those same sources also stated that this segment was originally filmed in secret in Nashville and was Impact’s way of writing him out of the company.
Young previously worked in WWE from 2016 to April of 2020.
