As noted before, Sasha Banks, real name Mercedes Varnado, is currently set to make an appearance at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event this Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. Besides Banks, Naomi is also currently expected to be in attendance at the event in a non-public supporting role for Banks.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE’s Bayley will also be traveling to Japan to support Banks at NJPW’s upcoming event. Similar to Naomi, Johnson reported that Bayley’s is only showing up in a supporting role and will not be making a public appearance at the event.
Johnson also reported that it is currently not known if WWE had sent Bayley to Japan for the event but it is assumed that she is traveling on her own accord to support her longtime friend.
