WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash was involved in a potential life threatening situation earlier this week regarding suicide-like comments he made in a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast. During the episode, Nash commented on his mental state since the passing of his son Tristen this past October.
“Today is week 12 that I lost my boy. Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth, I mean time flies when you’re having fun.”
While responding to co-host Sean Oliver who urged Nash not to make those type of comments, Nash stated:
“I can do whatever the fuck I wanna do. Long as I leave a note.”
TMZ reported that the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office made an in-person visit on Thursday to check up on Nash’s well-being following them being contacted over his recent life threatening distributing comments. Nash reportedly told officers that he has no plans to actually act on his suicide comments and is currently “doing okay.”
Following TMZ’s report, Nash commented on Twitter about the situation stating that his comments were only meant to be sarcasm and his way of coping over his son’s recent death.
“Everyone take a breath. Let’s not take my biggest coping mechanism SARCASM and blow it out of proportion. I appreciate the concern and the fact that others find it a perfect time for insults. Continue to get you updates on @TMZ and wrestling sites. I’ve got legs to train today.”
