Impact Wrestling announced earlier today that they have pulled Josh Alexander from their Rebellion 2023 event on April 16th in Toronto, Canada due to him recently suffering a triceps tear injury. It was also announced that Alexander will be undergoing surgery today to repair his injury.
It was also announced that due to his injury, they have stripped Alexander of his Impact World Championship and will be crowning a new champion at tonight’s event.
It was also announced that KUSHIDA will be replacing Alexander for his scheduled Impact World title match against Steve Maclin at the event.
