As noted before, Mercedes Mone is currently in talks with Bushiroad for a potential contract extension with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom. Mone’s current contract is set to expire after this Sunday’s All Star Grand Queendom 2023 event for Stardom.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that Mone and Bushiroad, parent company of NJPW and Stardom, recently agreed to terms for a contract extension.
While the length of Mone’s contract extension is currently not known, Meltzer reported that it will be for at least one additional match and event. This match reportedly is currently believed to be for a yet to be announced event to be held in the United States in the future.
