Grammy award winning musician Bad Bunny is currently scheduled to compete in a Street Fight match against Damian Priest at this Saturday’s Backlash 2023 event in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials originally had planned for Bad Bunny to compete in a tag team match with Rey Mysterio against Judgement Day’s Priest and Dominik Mysterio at the event. These plans reportedly included the match being the main event of the show and for Bad Bunny to pin Dominik to give his team the win and leaving the fans happy.
These plans reportedly were changed following WWE officials decision to pull Rey and Dominik out due to both Bad Bunny and WWE officials feeling comfortable with Bunny’s ability to have a good singles match instead.
