PAC has been absent from AEW since the January 11th AEW Dynamite show, which featured the seventh match in a Best of Seven series for the AEW Trios World Championship between Death Triangle and The Elite.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the reason for PAC’s lengthy absence was due to him getting surgery to repair a broken nose injury. Meltzer reported that PAC had worked through the injury for the Best of Seven series and underwent surgery afterwards.
Meltzer reported that AEW officials are currently expecting PAC to make his return from injury soon.
In regards to PAC’s broken nose injury, PAC had suffered the injury during his match at this past November’s Full Gear 2022 event between the Death Triangle and The Elite that was the first match in their Best of Seven series for the AEW Trios World titles.
