Sunday’s WWE NXT Great American Bash 2023 event in Cedar Park, Texas featured one NXT championship changing hands.
This title change was Tony D’Angelo & Stacks defeating Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
The finish to this match involved Joe Coffey interfering and handing Wolfgang a little bat but the ref saw it and took it away before Wolfgang could use it. Wolfgang and Mark then hit a TKO and running leaping kick combo to Stacks but D’Angelo broke up the pinfall attempt. This led to D’Angelo kicking Mark as Mark tried to come off the steps and powerbombed him into Wolfgang onto the steps. D’Angelo then grabbed a crowbar and struck Joe to take him out after another interference attempt. and hip tossed Stacks over the ropes onto Wolfgang and Mark on the outside. This led to D’Angelo and Stacks hitting their Bada Boom Bada Bing to Wolfgang for the pinfall victory to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
