As noted before, Kairi Sane made her official return to WWE at Saturday’s Crown Jewel 2023 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE’s deal to bring back Sane to the company was completed several months ago. It was reported that this deal took place around the same time WWE had signed both Nia Jax and Lexis King, former AEW and indies talent Brian Pillman Jr., to official contracts. It was also reported that all of these signings had taken place shortly after WWE’s unofficial hiring freeze ended following the company sale to Endeavor being finalized.
It was reported that WWE officials recently have held internal talks about more names joining Sane and IYO SKY for a new group.
In a follow-up report, Sean Ross Sapp reported in Fightful’s Crown Jewel 2023 Review show that his sources stated that one of the names currently being discussed by WWE officials is Sareee, former Sarray in NXT. WWE reportedly recently held talks with Sareee for a potential return to the company as part of Sareee’s talks with other promotions for a return to the United States.
