Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Eerie, Pennsylvania featured one new match officially announced for the card of Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2023 event, which takes place on December 15th at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
This new match announced was a singles match of Keith Lee vs. Shane Taylor.
This match was setup during a backstage segment involving Lee, Taylor, and Lee Moriarty. AEW backstage interviewer Lexy Nair asked Lee to clarifying what he had meant when he said last week about him coming for mysterious individual referenced as “him.” Before Lee could respond, Taylor and Moriarty showed up and interrupted. Taylor stated that them being on the opposite ends of a tag team match at last year’s Final Battle event was not good enough for him and issued a challenge to Lee for a match between the two at Final Battle 2023 later this month. Lee responded accepting the challenge. This match was made official for the event afterwards.
