As noted before, WWE recently announced that WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque will be making a “major announcement” during this Thursday’s WWE Preview Special 2024 show on Peacock.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within WWE debunked the recent rumors of Levesque’s “major announcement” being a new working partnership with Impact/TNA Wrestling.
Those spoken to within WWE reportedly stated that there was absolutely nothing to the recent rumors going around on social media trying to connect a new working agreement being in place between the two companies. Those same people spoken to reportedly also stated that Levesque’s upcoming announcement is not related at all to anything involving Impact/TNA.
One basis for the recent rumors revolved around WWE and Impact making a deal in the past allowing Impact talent Mickie James to make an appearance at WWE’s 2022 Royal Rumble event in return for Impact being acknowledged on WWE programming in the lead-up to James’ appearance and event itself.
