Friday’s New Year Dash 2024 event for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Tokyo, Japan featured Will Ospreay announcing that February 11th will be his final match and date in NJPW.
Following a very chaotic 10-Man Tag Team match between United Empire and Bullet Club War Dogs that ended in a no contest, Ospreay grabbed a microphone and stated that February 11th will be his last match in NJPW. Ospreay then issued a challenge to David Finlay and the rest of BC War Dogs to a five-on-five match at NJPW’s The New Beginning in Osaka 2024 event on February 11th in Osaka. Ospreay told Finlay that he could pick the stipulation for their match.

Finlay responded first threatening to end Ospreay and United Empire next month and then stated that his choice is a steel cage for their match.
