As noted before, WWE is currently interested in forming partnership with multiple Japanese promotions including Stardom and New Japan Pro Wresling.
Fightful Select reported that their sources within WWE stated that they were not aware of any talks nor a potential deal being in place regarding a potential partnership with Stardom. It was reported that many people spoken to within WWE stated that that company was in a new era and things could be done differently.
In regards to WWE’s current partnership with All Japan Pro Wrestling, one source spoken to reportedly stated that this was a “wait and see how it goes” approach and not an official partnership deal between both companies. Those spoken to within AJPW stated that the company was happy with Charlie Dempsey’s performances and him being a great representative for WWE to send over.
In regards to a potential partnership with NJPW, it was reported that those spoken to within WWE and NJPW currently do not believe that a partnership deal will be made due to NJPW’s current strong partnership with AEW. Those same people spoken to reportedly stated that due to the new faces in charge of WWE and NJPW, a potential future partnership is at least more likely than it has been in a long time.
