AEW held a new television taping for AEW Collision on Thursday at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
This taping will be for this Saturday’s episode on March 9th.
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, the first match for AEW’s Dynasty event on April 21st in St. Louis, Missouri was officially announced. This new match announced was a singles match of Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay. This match was initially setup at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show following Danielson and Ospreay confronting each other as the show went off the air. During Thursday’s Collision tapings, Danielson issued a challenge to Ospreay for a match at AEW Dynasty, which Ospreay accepted.
In regards to surprise appearances, PAC made his surprise in-person return to AEW at the tapings. Following The Elite’s victory over a team of jobbers, Eddie Kingston ran out and attacked The Elite only to get quickly beaten up instead. This led to PAC and Penta El Zero Miedo running out to save Kingston.

- Atlanta Street Fight Trios match – House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Brody King, & Malakai Black) defeated Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal, & Jeff Jarrett. Malaki pinned Briscoe after powerbombing him through a flaming table.
- Mistico defeated Angelico.
- Bryan Danielson defeated Shane Taylor. After the match, Will Ospreay came out and confronted Danielson. Ospreay and Danielson went back and forth until Danielson challenged Ospreay for a match at AEW Dynasty, which Ospreay agreed.
- The Elite (The Young Bucks (Matthews & Nicholas Jackson) & Kazuchika Okada) defeated Jon Cruz, Liam Gray, Adrian Alonis. Following the match, Eddie Kingston ran out to attack The Elite but was beaten up instead leading to Penta El Zero and PAC running out to save Kingston. This led to the official announcement of a Trios match for next week’s Dynamite Big Business between The Elite and Kingston, Penta, & PAC.
- Mariah May defeated Trish Adora. After the match, “Timeless” Toni Storm came out and awarded the first-ever “Toni Award” to May. Deonna Purrazzon ran out and attacked Storm leading to May saving Storm and the two laying out Purrazzo on the ramp.
- Nick Wayne defeated Adam Priest. Christian Cage was at ringside arguing with a masked fan and ripped the person’s sign leading to the person attacking Cage in return. This mystery person took off their mask and revealed himself to be Adam Copeland.
- FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) came out for an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone. FTR talked about AEW’s upcoming tag team tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions and them wanting to be the first ever three-time AEW Tag Team Champions. This led to The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) coming out to interrupt and stated that they want to be the new champs as well. This then led to FTR and The Infantry shaking hands with each other in show of respect.
- “Lionheart” Chris Jericho defeated Titan by submission via The Walls of Jericho. After the match, The Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) ran out and attacked Jericho leading to HOOK running out with a Singapore Cane to save Jericho.
