Ortiz Reveals He Suffered Torn Pec Injury & Undergoing Surgery Soon

Isiah Kassidy recently released a new vlog on his YouTube channel featuring Ortiz as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ortiz revealing that he recently suffered a torn pectoral injury and will be undergoing surgery soon to repair it.

“I’m injured. I’m injured. I’m about to get surgery in two weeks. It was just from a clothesline. I tore a pec. I tore my pec from a clothesline. It’s because I’m too jacked. I’m so jacked my tendons couldn’t keep up. Two weeks and four months recovery time, and I’ll be back.”

Ortiz last wrestled on the January 20th episode of AEW Rampage in a tag team match with Eddie Kingston against Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli.

Mercedes Mone Comments on When She Knew of AEW Debut Plans & Talks with Tony Khan

A recent episode of the Stick To Wrestling podcast featured Mercedes Mone as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Mone’s thoughts about when she knew of AEW’s plans for her official debut in the company.

“I knew for a while, that’s why it’s all about Big Business. I am Big Business. I’m the CEO of AEW. Me and Tony have been planning things for a while and we’re in the works to do so many more incredible things.”

Mone also gave her thoughts about her talks with AEW CEO Tony Khan leading to her signing with the company.

“It was amazing. We’ve been talking for quite some time now. The alignment felt so right in 2024. There have been so many beautiful things in the works. When he called me the first time, I was like, ‘I’ll think about it, TK. We have to build this relationship. Let me keep on watching and seeing this women’s division.’ I kept on watching the division and my dreams became so much bigger and brighter. I knew instantly I wanted AEW to be my home.”

Parker Boudreaux Confirms He Is Still with AEW and AAA Being “One of His Homes” for His Career

Parker Boudreaux has been out of action for AEW since March of 2023. Boudreaux made his surprise debut for Lucha Libre AAA earlier this month in Mexico and is currently scheduled to compete at this month’s Triplemania XXII: Tijuana event.

Boudreaux provided an update earlier today in a now deleted tweet confirming Fight Select’s report of him still being with AEW. Boudreuax also stated that he did not leave AEW for AAA and instead AAA is one of his new homes for his career.
