As noted before, Tuesday’s WWE NXT show featured TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace making a surprise appearance. This was Grace’s second appearance in WWE, following this past January’s Royal Rumble 2024 event.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that those spoken to within NXT stated that Grace’s upcoming appearance at WWE’s NXT Battleground 2024 will not be the only collaboration between WWE and TNA Wrestling in the days ahead.
Johnson reported that the current belief from those spoken to is that there there will be some sort of NXT representation on future TNA events and programming as well. Johnson also reported that it is currently not known how much of an NXT representation that could be nor if it could be anyone beyond NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
Johnson speculated that it is possible that WWE could end up doing something at TNA’s upcoming events in Chicago in June, either at the Against All Odds 2024 event on June 14th or subsequent Impact! television tapings on June 15th. Johnson reported that TNA does not have any other events currently scheduled to take place before those two events.
