As noted before, Ricochet’s contract with WWE expired this past Monday and is currently expected to be joining AEW. Ricochet made his final scheduled appearance for WWE in the June 10th WWE RAW show that was notable for WWE writing out Ricochet over Bron Breakker’s attack on him.
Fightful Select reported that their sources provided several new details regarding Ricochet’s current free agency and expectation of him joining AEW.
It was reported that Ricochet is expected to sign with AEW soon and negotiations between the two sides is well underway.
It was also reported that Ricochet’s agent was in attendance backstage at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Rampage tapings at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Ricochet’s agent reportedly also represents a number of other WWE and AEW talents and was stated to be the one leading the negotiations between Ricochet and AEW for a potential deal.
