FOX’s Tubi reportedly is currently interested in adding a wrestling product to their streaming service, according to Fightful Select.
Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Tubi officials have recently shown interest towards investing in a wrestling product for their service.
Sapp reported that these talks have not been with an active wrestling company and instead revolve around the possibility of creating a new wrestling-related product.
Sapp also reported that very little details regarding Tubi’s plans for this new wrestling project are currently known.
Tubi previously had shown interest in adding wrestling to their service in 2021 following talks with Major League Wrestling. These talks were dropped following allegations of WWE had interfered resulting in MLW filing an anti-trust lawsuit against WWE over the matter. These allegations claimed that then WWE executive Stephanie McMahon had pressured Tubi to deny giving MLW a streaming rights deal due to WWE’s own media rights deal with FOX. This lawsuit was later settled by MLW and WWE in December of 2023.
