Sendai Girls co-founder Meiko Satomura held a press conference on Friday in Japan.
During the press conference, Satomura officially announced that she will be retiring from her in-ring wrestling career in April of 2025 and will be holding a retirement tour starting this September. Satmoura also stated that she is open to the idea of competing for other promotions during her upcoming retirement tour.
In regards for the decision for the April 2025 date for her retirement match, Satomura confirmed that this was due to that date being the 30th anniversary of the debut of her wrestling career.
Current schedule for Meiko Satomura’s retirement tour:
- September 28th – Fukuoka, Japan
- October 14th – Hokkaido
- November 9th – Niigata
- November 17th – Tokyo at Korakuen Hall
- November 30th – Osaka
- December 8th – Sendai
- April 2025 – Tokyo at Korakuen Hall
